Job summary

Parker Aerospace is seeking a Visual Inspector to perform inspections of welded and brazed joints under close supervision. You will follow approved procedures, set up and calibrate inspection equipment, and document results accurately.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma (or equivalent), 0–1 year of experience, and the ability to read drawings, interpret weld inspection requirements, and work with the team to ensure quality and compliance with SPD procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 0–1 year experience or related duties.
• Ability to interpret weld inspection requirements from drawings and specs.
• Able to pass SPD procedures examinations.
• Knowledge of GTAW, AWS codes and standards preferred.
• Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication; team player.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspection of parts following approved procedures.
• Set up, calibrate, standardize equipment and conduct tests.
• Interpret results and document results per procedures.
• Maintain lean practices and organize work area; support improvement initiatives.
