Job summary

Wasatch Academy is seeking a Media and Content Specialist to be the primary visual storyteller. You will create engaging digital content, manage social media, and produce photography, videography, and graphics for marketing across digital and print channels.

The role supports enrollment and advancement efforts, collaborates with the Director of Marketing & Communications, and contributes to campaigns and content strategy while maintaining brand consistency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or equivalent professional experience in marketing/communications/creative fields.
• Strong photography and videography skills with editing experience.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Lightroom).
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong organizational and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Wasatch Academy’s mission, values, and educational philosophy.
• Manage dynamic content for social media to drive traffic to the school website.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive content calendar.
• Create posts, stories, reels, and short-form video.
• Monitor engagement and respond to comments/messages.
• Capture professional photography and videography of academics, athletics, arts, residential life, and events.
• Edit photos and videos for multiple platforms; design graphics for various channels.
• Assist in marketing campaigns and promotional materials; collaborate with Marketing & Communications Director.
• Contribute ideas for campaigns and content strategy; assist with website updates.
