A leading fashion company is seeking a Visual Production Assistant to join their team in New York City. This role involves supporting the visual production team with events, photoshoots, and window displays. Candidates should be skilled in graphic design and comfortable with physical tasks, such as lifting and installation. A college degree related to the field is also required, along with proficiency in essential software like Photoshop and Illustrator. A firm commitment is needed, as the employee must be in the office five days a week.
POSITION SUMMARY:
To assist the visual production team with all events, shoots, and window displays.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
·Understanding of how to use basic tools such as screwdriver, hammer, etc.
·Organizing budgets and tracking packages for all projects
·Helping source items for windows, photoshoots, and events
·Assist with logistics and vendors for all projects
·Create large scale graphics, Knowledge of Illustrator and photoshop required
·Create promotional vinyls for all store doors
·Install window displays in NYC area, including large scale graphics
·Assist with visuals on set for photo shoots
·Maintain office appearance, orgainizing visual closet
ESSENTIAL SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
·Prop styling and window dressing
·Vinyl installation, painting decopauging for windows shoots and events
·Must be able to lift 50 pounds and be comfortable on ladder
·Sketchup, photoshop, illustrator, excel
·College degree in similar field
·Must be in office 5 days a week
BENEFITS:
·$50,000- $55,000 base salary (This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this NY-based position. The base salary will depend on numerous factors such as: experience and qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to other A+O employees.)
