Job summary

Kohl’s is seeking a Visual Merchandising Lead to support and guide visual merchandising and related processes across the store. You will drive sales by creating moments through visual storytelling and effective merchandising execution that enhance the customer experience.

Key duties include planning with store leadership, updating sets for product availability, and overseeing installation and timing of visual initiatives in partnership with leadership.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Flexible availability including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Retail or service industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support store leadership in visual and merchandising planning and execution
• Implement visual presentation according to corporate standards
• Update merchandise sets based on product availability and sell through
• Elevate visual and merchandise presentations in all areas of the store
• Maintain visual components in a neat, clean and organized area
• Oversee installation, timing, removal of visual initiatives with store leadership
• Conduct regular store walks focusing on merchandise and visual priorities
• Provide feedback to District Visual Lead and align with company strategies
• Follow product protection guidelines to minimize shortage
• Assist with onboarding and training new associates
• Acknowledge and assist customers delivering a friendly experience
• Act with integrity and foster teamwork
• Meet or exceed individual goals and maintain merchandising standards
• Ensure accurate pricing and signing during merchandising presentations
• Handle multiple tasks within established timeframes
• Train and reinforce company policies and safety guidelines
• Maintain adherence to safety policies
