Job summary

Havertys in the United States is seeking a Visual Merchandising Coordinator to maintain an appealing showroom per corporate guidelines. The role focuses on product display, floor plan organization, and delivering a superior customer experience.

Compensation is $18.00/hour with a Monday–Friday schedule and opportunities for Saturday work. The position requires experience in retail display, strong teamwork, and the ability to lift heavy items.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year of related experience and/or training required.
• 2+ years retail display experience desired.
• General computer skills with MS Word, Excel, and Office 365 preferred.
• Ability to push, pull, lift and move up to 60+ pounds.
• Able to pass drug screen, background check, and lifting assessment.
• 5 days a week, Monday–Friday, with Saturday as needed; typical hours 7:30 am–4:30 pm.

Responsibilities

• Arrange and present merchandise on showroom floor per Best Seller Report.
• Plan for new merchandise with store manager; remove/mark down floor samples.
• Transfer in new furniture and accessories according to placement plan.
• Mark down and display inactive/aged accessories; maintain rug racks.
• Coordinate and display accessories per Visual Merchandising Standards.
• Maintain accessory fixtures and complete weekly Display Coordinator checklist.
