Job summary

Kravet Inc. in New York City is seeking a Visual Merchandising Coordinator to support the Corporate Showroom Merchandising Department.

The role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in an administrative role, proficient with Excel and Word, and solid communication skills to coordinate orders, shipments, and installations.

Qualifications

Overview

Kravet, Inc., one of the leading international fabric and fine furnishings companies, is currently looking for a Visual Merchandising Coordinator to join our Corporate Showroom Merchandising Department in New York City. The Department seeks a self-motivated, highly organized individual for this position.


Responsibilities


  • Placing and tracking showroom sample orders for furniture, fabric, casegoods and accessories on our internal ordering system

  • Follow up with manufacturers regarding orders and production time

  • Coordinating freight/transport of showroom sample furniture, casegoods, rugs and accessories

  • Overseeing deliveries to regional receiving warehouses and showrooms

  • Working with a variety of vendors, sources and variables to meet installation deadlines

  • Managing records of projects past & present

  • Maintaining inventories


The preferred candidate should have computer proficiency including Microsoft Excel and Word, and should be extremely organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. In addition, strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
