Job summary

Wismettac Asian Foods, Inc. seeks a Merchandiser to optimize branch sales and profits by ensuring customers' stores are stocked with the right products. You will deliver merchandise, stock shelves, arrange displays, and monitor inventory to keep shelves appealing and accurate.

You will develop effective product placements, rotate stock, and collaborate with store staff to resolve issues. The role requires physical readiness to lift heavy objects and extend hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of retail food operation
• Ability to read, speak, and write in English
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Physically capable of lifting heavy objects over 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Stock store shelves and maintain shelving to standards
• Check shelves/backrooms for overstock, rotations, and dates
• Maintain contact with customers to resolve problems and complaints
• Deliver & pick up products and equipment when needed
• Package finished product for shipping and stage for loading
• Check purchase/work orders for correct assembly and delivery
• Unload products from trucks/containers and stock in designated areas
• Ensure quality control and adherence to SOPs
