Job summary

The Oakland Home Store in Dublin, Ohio is seeking a hands-on Visual Merchandiser to drive appealing displays and cohesive brand environments. You will partner with the Store Director, Buyer, and visual manager to execute merchandising directives, switch projects as needed, and create inviting vignette installations across the floor.

Requirements include 2+ years in visual merchandising in fashion, home decorating, or furniture, strong communication, adaptability, and the ability to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of visual merchandising experience in design, furniture sales, fashion, home staging, or related field.
• Self-starter; able to take direction but also make quick decisions at a moment's notice.
• Adapt to flexible day-to-day workflow and multitask as needed.
• Must be able to lift, push, and manage up to 50lbs+ regularly.
• Great communicator, team-centered, and highly collaborative.

Responsibilities

• Act and lead through our core values of humility, empathy, authenticity, relationships, and tenacity (HEART).
• Execute weekly and monthly merchandising directives with store leadership and Regional Merchandise Manager/Director.
• Implement visual strategies to drive top-line sales, brand consistency, and customer experience.
• Work with leadership to uphold visual standards as a team responsibility.
• React to sell-through and replenish styling floor with emphasis on outfitting and floorset integrity.
• Partner with Inventory Specialist to execute markdowns and address sale section changes.
