Job summary

Broad River Retail is seeking a Visual Merchandiser to lead a single store location in Pineville, NC. You will implement merchandising strategies, create eye-catching displays, and maintain brand standards to enhance the guest experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years visual merchandising or retail furniture experience preferred.
• Able to follow directions from Regional Visual Merchandiser and implement with minimal supervision.

This person will be the direct lead for one retail location. This person is responsible for implementing our merchandising strategy in-store and creating appealing, eye-catching visual displays along with maintaining our brand standards & strategy.**DAY IN THE LIFE AS THIS MEMORY MAKER:*** Responsible for Premier visual presentation and product flow of the showroom* Executes & maintains visual displays/seasonal floor sets* Ensures timely completion of all tasks related to display product movement.* Analyzes sales of products.* Manage and train the following operational duties: accessory receiving, informational POP tagging, placement of price tags & lighting.* Distribute accessories and wall décor optimally throughout showroom display areas.* Reviews clearance/discontinued reports. Re-prices clearance accessory products. Regardless of race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, age, disability, or if you’re parenting the next generation of Memory Makers, we firmly believe our work is at its best when everyone feels free to be their most authentic self.## Qualifications**WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:*** A minimum of 2 years visual merchandising, accessory and/or retail furniture experience preferred* Associates Degree in related field preferred* Ability to create and maintain consistent visual and merchandise presentations within their area of responsibility in accordance with the company standards manuals* Be able to follow verbal and written direction from the Regional Visual Merchandiser and implement the directive with minimal supervision* This role does require reliable transportation to travel within area of responsibility, as well as assist other Designers when needed* Ability to work independently, have a strong sense of work ethic, professional presentation, excellent communication skills, and solid customer service skills* Strong cognitive skills required; including the ability to learn quickly, handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously and be highly productive without needing much supervision* Ability to perform additional functions that may be assigned at the discretion of management**WORKPLACE ENVIRONMENT:*** Must be able to lift and move furniture of 50lbs or more within the store, as well as have excellent mobility (standing, bending, lifting, stooping, climbing, pushing, etc.)* 50% of time is spent in the Warehouse assisting with opening & assembling accessories.
