Job summary

Torrey Holistics seeks a Visual Inspection and Packaging Specialist to verify finished parts from injection molding, trim runners, and perform simple secondary operations. You will use RF scanning to track inventory and ensure packaging meets customer specifications.

This role requires attention to detail, basic math for weighing and counting, and the ability to follow written or diagram-based instructions in a fast-paced plastics environment. Training provided for IQMS usage.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED is required.
  • 1–3 years’ related experience preferred; manufacturing or plastics background preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect with intent: Perform visual checks and use measuring equipment to validate conformance.
  • Move product accurately: Swap full containers, label correctly, and use an RF scan gun to disposition parts into inventory.
  • Package to perfection: Count, weigh, and sort parts with sample or counter scales; follow customer packaging standards precisely.
  • Run the system: Use IQMS to label/package parts, prep upcoming jobs, enter rejects, confirm counts, locate raw materials, sub‑components, and packaging, account for finished goods, and transact inventory movements.
  • Document and close: Record rejects, complete end‑of‑run verification, and log shift counts.
  • Own your space: Keep the area clean and organized. Call out mold, machine, or safety issues immediately.
