Job description

Can You Spot the Flaw Others Miss?

If you answered yes, you might be the Visual Inspection and Packaging Specialist we’re looking for. Picture this: a finished lot is about to ship. You verify dimensions, catch a subtle color variance, adjust packaging, scan inventory, and keep a customer’s line running on time. That’s impact.

Role Mission

Ensure plastic parts from injection molding and secondary assembly leave our facility exactly as the customer specified—no surprises.

How You’ll Succeed
  • Know the standard: Review specs, work instructions, and packaging details before you ever press “start.” Ask questions when anything is unclear.
  • Finish with finesse: Trim runners and complete simple secondary ops like basic welds or insert placement.
  • Inspect with intent: Perform visual checks and use measuring equipment to validate conformance.
  • Move product accurately: Swap full containers, label correctly, and use an RF scan gun to disposition parts into inventory.
  • Package to perfection: Count, weigh, and sort parts with sample or counter scales; follow customer packaging standards precisely.
  • Back up quality: Assist with online and offline quality sorts.
  • Run the system: Use IQMS to label/package parts, prep upcoming jobs, enter rejects, confirm counts, locate raw materials, sub‑components, and packaging, account for finished goods, and transact inventory movements.
  • Document and close: Record rejects, complete end‑of‑run verification, and log shift counts. Set up and tear down cells per standard work.
  • Own your space: Keep the area clean and organized. Call out mold, machine, or safety issues immediately. Be present and punctual. Help where needed.
