Job summary

PT Tech in Michigan is seeking a skilled operator to run and tend injection and blow molding equipment, keeping lines moving and stable.

You will monitor process conditions, adjust parameters to meet quality standards, and collaborate with Process Engineering to cut downtime and scrap. A high school diploma and 3+ years in manufacturing are required, with hand tool experience preferred; forklift/overhead crane skills are a plus.

Your day at a glance

When you clock in, you’ll take ownership of a set of injection and blow molding machines, bringing them up to spec, confirming setups, and getting parts flowing. Throughout the shift you’ll watch the process and finished parts like a hawk, dialing in parameters and partnering with Process Engineering to drive down downtime and scrap while pushing overall efficiency higher.

Physical requirements and environment

• Regular walking, sitting, climbing, bending, stooping, grasping, crouching, pushing, balancing, reaching, kneeling, and standing.
• Lift up to 50 lbs on a routine basis.
• Work in both warmer and cooler conditions as needed.
