Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
• Special Education Certificate (AZ requirements).
• Arizona Teaching Licensure is required.
• Shall have specific certification where applicable (e.g., Early Childhood Education CC).
• Experience with IEP writing, meetings, and collaboration with families.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute Individualized Education Plans (IEP) for each student.
• Communicate with staff and families about progress and challenges.
• Prepare detailed lesson plans and submit for administrator approval.
• Participate in IEP meetings as scheduled by the school.
• Use individualized reinforcement techniques to support student progress.
• Invite family members to participate in educational progress.
• Create and distribute progress reports quarterly.
• Collaborate with on-site therapists on student needs.
• Maintain a safe, productive classroom environment.
