Job summary

Madewell is seeking a Visual Associate in New York, NY, to curate an inviting store environment with meticulous attention to detail. You’ll set up compelling window displays and merchandise layouts that engage customers and reinforce our brand presentation.

You will help team members learn presentation standards, both in front of house and back of house, while supporting an inclusive workplace centered on product passion and exceptional customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Stay up to date with fashion trends and industry developments.
• Scheduling flexibility, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Create captivating window displays and merchandise layouts.
• Ensure promotional signage is up-to-date and organized.
• Execute organized and timely floor sets.
• Collaborate with store management on product placement and daily maintenance on the sales floor.
• Keep backstock organized and move relevant products to the floor regularly.
• Comply with merchandise receiving and handling guidelines.
• Use store systems and technology effectively.
• Respond to customers with courtesy and respect.
