Job summary

Netflix is seeking a Visual Development Artist to shape characters, environments, and the overall aesthetic of animated content. You will explore 2D/3D concepts, collaborate with creative leadership, and contribute to GenAI-enabled production pipelines that blend traditional and new tools.

You will help establish visual tone from story inception to delivery, while building efficient workflows and contributing to high-quality, feature-grade visuals within a fast-moving, creator-led environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of visual development experience in animation, VFX, games, or digital media.
• Excellence in draftsmanship with a working knowledge of anatomy and/or volumetric drawing.
• Samples showing excellence in visual development, composition, and lighting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and conceptualize characters, environments, and set layouts to discover personality, visual atmosphere, mood, and tone.
• Collaborate with leadership to translate and maintain the visual look and style.
• Define workflows blending GenAI with traditional renders for high-quality visuals.
