United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a seasoned Visual Designer to own asset creation, visual craft, and AI-driven workflows across our finance-focused product suite. You’ll act as a force multiplier for designers while building scalable design systems and advanced assets.

The role sits in our multi-city offices (Bellevue, WA; Menlo Park, CA; New York, NY) with in-person collaboration expected, and requires strong systems thinking, typography, color, and motion design skills.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of visual design experience with a portfolio showing scalable systems.
• Hands-on with AI generation tools and ability to build/adapt workflows, not just use them.
• Proficiency with Figma and scripting or coded tools for asset automation is a plus.
• Strong communication to influence design quality across cross-functional teams.

The Visual Designer sits within the Product Creative team to own asset creation, general visual design, and motion support — working as a force multiplier for designers across the company. This is a distinct role from our product design function; rather than owning UX flows or product strategy, you'll be focused on the quality and scalability of the visual craft that underpins the company's product suite.

This role calls for someone who takes proactive ownership of creative systems and is building and maintaining advanced AI workflows that allow the team to generate and iterate on assets at scale, while also serving as the team's go-to resource for icons, illustration, 3D, and motion. The ideal candidate brings both strong visual instincts and the technical curiosity to push what's possible with emerging tools.

This role is based in our Bellevue, WA, Menlo Park, CA, and New York, NY offices, with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week.

What you’ll do

• Partner with designers, engineers, and product managers to deliver high-quality visual assets that maintain consistency across the company's products
• Serve as the team's go-to resource for icon design, illustration, 3D assets, and motion support, ensuring everything integrates with the existing design system
• Build and maintain AI-powered workflows — using tools like Midjourney, ComfyUI, and VV — to create scalable, repeatable asset production processes
• Develop automation tools that enable the broader team to generate and iterate on batches of assets more efficiently
• Take proactive ownership of creative systems and processes, identifying opportunities to modernize and scale output
• Champion visual craft and quality across high-impact product launches

What you bring

• 8+ years of experience in visual design with a strong portfolio demonstrating scalable systems work
• Sophisticated visual craft across typography, color, composition, and motion, with the judgment to apply it within a mature design system
• Hands-on experience with AI generation tools (Midjourney, ComfyUI, or equivalent) and the ability to build and adapt workflows — not just use them
• A systems-ownership mindset: you proactively identify gaps, build infrastructure, and improve processesProficiency with Figma; experience with scripting or coded tools for asset automation is a plus
• Strong communication skills and the ability to influence design quality across cross-functional teams

In addition to the base pay range listed below, this role is also eligible for bonus opportunities + equity + benefits.

Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected base pay range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. For other locations not listed, compensation can be discussed with your recruiter during the interview process.

$191,000—$225,000 USD

Zone 2 (Denver, CO; Westlake, TX; Chicago, IL)

$168,000—$198,000 USD

Zone 3 (Lake Mary, FL; Clearwater, FL; Gainesville, FL)

$150,000—$176,000 USD
