Expect messy workflows, rapid requests, and a hands-on role translating strategy into on‑brand design. Must have a strong portfolio, Framer proficiency, motion design skills, and clear written and verbal communication.

About Raylu

Raylu is the AI research platform for private equity, helping investors find better deals and make sharper decisions. We're pushing the boundaries of what AI can do for research and rethinking what great interaction with AI should actually feel like for serious, data-heavy work.

The Role

Visual design touches everything outward-facing at Raylu: the marketing website, social, decks, and the brand itself. This isn't a "make one graphic and call it a day" role. You'll be embedded in the team, shipping real work every week, and working directly with our Founding Product Designer and Head of Growth to shape how Raylu looks and feels to the outside world as we scale.

Expect messy workflows, spontaneous asks, and a direct line into how brand and marketing decisions get made at a fast-growing startup.

What You'll Work On

• Marketing website: design and build pages in Framer, and help improve SEO

• Motion design: animation for the website, social, and brand moments

• Graphic design: social posts and marketing assets

• Deck design: sales, pitch, and presentation decks

• Brand: help maintain and evolve the Raylu brand as we grow

Two areas we'd love help with, and will weigh heavily:

• Brand skills for AI agents: teach our AI agents to produce on-brand decks and social posts

• Copywriting: writing for the website, social, and campaigns
  

Who You'll Work With

Mostly the Head of Growth, Founding Product Designer, and Product Designer. Regularly with Sales, the Chief of Staff, and the Head of People. Design is collaborative here, so in practice you'll work with everyone.

Who You Are

Must-haves

• A portfolio with strong visual and brand design work

• Skilled in Framer — you'll build real pages on our marketing site

• Motion design skills (After Effects, Rive, or similar)

• Clear communicator, in writing and in meetings

• Self-directed and proactive: once you have the scope, you run with it. Comfortable with ambiguity — this is a startup, not a structured program

• Curious and honest about what you don't know. You ask questions and dig in

• Based in NYC and able to be in-person in Manhattan

• Loves dogs (we have two puppies in the office)

Nice-to-haves

• Experience setting up AI agents to produce on-brand work

• Marketing copywriting samples in your portfolio

• Working knowledge of SEO

• Already using AI tools in your design workflow

• Interest in finance, PE, or research tools
