Description

At Verily, we believe that all of our products should be beautiful, accessible, informative, and engaging. As a Visual Designer, you are a creative individual contributor and leader with a portfolio of highly crafted brand identity work, visual systems, and product experiences for iconic brands. In this 6-month fixed-term contract role, you’ll be using your expertise in visual design across digital, social and print mediums to help create products and other materials users love. You’ll rely on user-centered design principles to produce high-quality visuals—from concept to execution—across many platforms and technologies. You’ll collaborate with other Marketing designers, our creative design and content leads and on occasion UX designers and product managers, to refine the Verily design language and create innovative, great-looking products that help move healthcare from reactive to proactive.

Responsibilities
  • Work on the visual design for ad production, web visuals, and social assets, maintaining a look consistent with Verily and the larger Material Design system (or product specific visual design language).

  • Help develop Brand-to-Demand campaigns for B2B products. Nurture campaigns and engagement digital campaigns by working with Sr. Designers to execute on set art direction.

  • Presentation design for events & Verily leadership talks.

  • Collaborate with the Verily Brand Studio on Verily’s brand and design marketing collateral across, Consumer, Corporate & B2B projects.

  • Communicate and collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team and present ideas and designs effectively to creative leads and stakeholders.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in Design (Interaction, Graphic, Product) or a related field, or equivalent practical experience with 5+ years in visual design for digital products.

  • A robust portfolio demonstrating excellence in visual execution, including illustration, instructional design, and high-quality assets for consumer-facing web and mobile apps.

  • Proven experience across diverse platforms, specifically including print production and email marketing design.

  • Expert proficiency in Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

  • Emerging experience or strong interest in AI-generative tools and motion graphics/animation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in CSS/HTML and advanced prototyping; experience with motion design tools such as After Effects or Cinema 4D.

  • Deep expertise in designing for physical touchpoints, including packaging and large-scale brand marketing assets.

  • Solid understanding of both traditional and digital design lifecycles, with a keen eye for evolving technology and design trends.

  • Ability to coordinate design across disciplines—marketing, product, and engineering—while managing complex workloads in ambiguous environments.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven ability to articulate conceptual ideas and design rationale within a user-centered framework.
