Job summary

HDR is seeking a Visual Communications Coordinator to lead visual storytelling from concept through completion. You will translate architectural and research concepts into compelling graphics, diagrams, and layouts for corporate and marketing materials.

The role requires strong design skills in the Adobe suite, familiarity with 3D tools, and the ability to collaborate with architects, researchers, and marketers to simplify complex information for diverse audiences.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Graphic Design, Web Design, Visual Communications, Data Visualization, Fine Arts, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 2 years relevant industry experience.
Strong knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign) and Microsoft Office.
Experience with 3D modeling/visualization software such as Rhino, Blender, Unreal Engine.
Experience with Premiere, After Effects, Dreamweaver, and CSS.
Experience with offset printing, digital printing, and color correction.

Responsibilities

Plan, manage, and deliver visual communication projects from concept through completion.
Translate architectural, planning, sustainability, research, and design concepts into graphics, diagrams, infographics, layouts, and visual stories.
Design high-quality corporate and marketing materials including publications, brochures, media kits, presentations, social media assets, and web graphics.
