Job summary

HDR is seeking an Architect to lead architectural assignments on revenue-producing projects with limited supervision. A Bachelor’s in Architecture and 3+ years of experience are required, and a Registered Architect credential is essential.

Preferred candidates have a Master’s in Architecture and experience in healthcare, educational, civic, science, and research facilities, plus proficiency in Revit and MS Office. This full-time, on-site role is based in Folsom, CA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture and a minimum of 3 years' experience.
• Registered Architect required.
• Strong leadership, communication and relationship management skills.
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit; familiarity with related tools and processes.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project).
• Demonstrated graphic presentation skills.
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, select and apply standard architectural techniques for assignments.
• Perform tasks with defined objectives requiring investigation of variables.
• Follow instructions on assignment objectives and possible solutions.
• Work with limited supervision and assume design responsibilities on projects.
• Write reports and specifications covering architectural matters.
• Take responsibility for phases of revenue-producing projects as needed.
• Participate in background check process as required.
