Qualifications

• Must hold a Master's degree in Visual Arts or a Master's degree with 18 graduate hours in the discipline.
• Commitment to ongoing curriculum development and up-to-date course content.
• Experience teaching in higher education or related settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and teach assigned courses.
• Prepare, review, and update course outlines annually.
• Maintain records for each course taught.
• Teach courses in assigned method(s).
• Maintain current knowledge of discipline technology and instructional tools.
• Teach face-to-face seated or hybrid sections at partner sites.
• Submit college reports in a timely fashion.
• Assist in student retention and success.
• Establish positive working relationships with students and staff.
• Assist in selection and ordering of supplies and textbooks.
• Maintain regular posted office hours.
• Attend departmental and college meetings.
• Develop professional relationships and handle confidential information appropriately.
• Respond to student and staff inquiries in a timely and professional fashion.
