Qualifications

• Must hold a master’s degree in the discipline from an accredited institution, or a master’s degree and 18 hours in the discipline.
• Ability to teach in Online, Traditional, Blended, and Hybrid modalities, including dual enrolled high school students.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and teach assigned sociology courses.
• Prepare, review, and update course outlines annually to stay current with accreditation standards.
• Maintain records for each course taught.
• Teach courses in assigned method(s) and at varied locations.
• Keep up to date on LMS and instructional technologies.
• Submit all college reports in a timely fashion and assist in student retention.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with students, faculty, and staff.
• Attend department and college meetings as scheduled and support equity and opportunity initiatives.
