Job summary

Sandhills Community College is seeking an adjunct curriculum faculty to guide and direct the learning experiences of accounting students by imparting knowledge, developing skills, and fostering motivation.

Responsibilities include preparing and teaching assigned courses, maintaining course materials and records, utilizing LMS technologies, and supporting student success with a respectful, inclusive learning environment while aligning with the college’s mission.

Qualifications

• Must have a Master’s degree in Accounting or a Master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in Accounting.
• Relevant employment experience in accounting or related field is preferred for applicants.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and teach assigned courses.
• Maintain and update course materials and outlines.
• Maintain accurate student records and submit reports in a timely manner.
• Utilize instructional technologies and LMS platforms.
• Engage and support student success and retention.
• Teach assigned classes including day, evening, or weekend.
• Communicate professionally with students and staff.
• Attend meetings and participate in college activities.
