Vista Vet Clinic and Urgent Care is a locally owned vet clinic in Utah. We are looking for the right veterinarian to join our growing team!

We are very proud to be locally owned, started in 2024 by two of our vets (Dr. Tadlock and Dr. Ravitz) and value a great work/life balance while practicing high quality medicine for our patients.

We have a great clientele, experienced support staff, and have a full in-house laboratory, digital radiographs, ultrasound, dental radiographs, and brand new dental equipment and pride ourselves on practicing high-quality medicine at a reasonable cost. We are excited to be growing our team and looking to move to 7 days a week.

We are seeking part-time OR full-time DVM (8-16 shifts/month). We are open 5 days a week 9am-7pm but looking to expand to 7 days a week, and can offer flexible shifts.
We are willing to help train the right candidate - if you have GP but not urgent care / emergency experience, we can be available for mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Managing GP appointments and urgent care walk-ins daily.
• Performing routine soft tissue surgeries (spays, neuters, mass removals, etc)
• Performing dental cleanings/extractions
• Stabilizing emergent patients (blocked cats, CHF, trauma, etc) prior to transfer to ER if needed
• Experience with emergency soft tissue surgeries (pyometras, foreign bodies) is preferred
