Job summary

OneStar Foundation in Austin, Texas is seeking an AmeriCorps VISTA Leader to provide leadership, peer development, and training to VISTA members across Texas. The role focuses on expanding program impact, recruiting and mentoring volunteers, and developing training resources.

Qualifications

• Must have at least one full term of AmeriCorps VISTA, AmeriCorps State/National, NCCC, or Peace Corps Volunteer to apply as a VISTA Leader.

Responsibilities

• Support OneStar VISTA Intermediary Project goal of tackling poverty by increasing scale, reach, effectiveness and efficiency of partner nonprofits as they work with local communities.
• Recruit, coordinate, train and support OneStar VISTAs to maximize impact in collaboration with a co-leader.
