The Welcome to America Project (WTAP) in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a VISTA member to strengthen organizational capacity by developing and refining standard operating procedures and tools for warehouse inventory management, donation intake and tracking, and volunteer coordination.

Responsibilities focus on creating sustainable systems, documenting procedures, and improving connections with community partners to support refugee integration and long-term self-sufficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in community engagement or refugee communities is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop efforts to improve operations of our warehouse and increase connections with community partners.
• Help newly arrived refugees receive essential resources for integration and sustainability.
• Support documentation, tracking, and partner coordination to enable a sustainable hand off.
• Create practical implementation guides and processes staff can maintain after the service year.
