HandsOn Phoenix is seeking a dedicated AmeriCorps VISTA member to join the Welcome to America Project (WTAP) in Arizona. You will build capacity by creating and refining standard operating procedures for warehouse inventory management, donor tracking, and volunteer coordination, while engaging community partners to empower refugees toward stability and self-sufficiency.

The role emphasizes developing sustainable systems, documenting procedures for staff maintenance, and strengthening connections

Qualifications

• Knowledge of community organizing and volunteer engagement preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
• Experience with Google Workspace or refugee-focused work is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop efforts to improve operations of our warehouse and increase connections with community partners to help newly arrived refugees access resources for integration and sustainability; ensure a sustainable handoff of processes.
