This is a quasi full-time (Q-status) position working 32 hours per week (0.8 FTE). Holiday pay and annual leave are proportionate to hours worked.
We are currently seeking applications for organized, service-minded individuals to join our Visitor Services Department as a Visitor Services Supervisor (quasi full-time, 32 hours per week).
The Visitor Services Supervisor supervises and supports Visitor Services staff and helps create an environment of service excellence for museum visitors, whether they are in person, on the phone, or online. Duties include supervising and training Visitor Services Associates, Visitor Experience Specialists, and Lead Visitor Services Associates, and assisting with their recruitment. The Supervisor also works on the front lines, assisting at the Visitor Services and Membership desks, coat check, and parking deck. This includes selling tickets and memberships and answering visitor questions. The role also completes shift opening and closing procedures, prepares daily revenue reports and financial logs, and manages cash tills and deposits.
