• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background checks and drug screening are standard.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and community members while carrying out site‑specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an educational location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of school buildings, grounds, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to support an orderly learning environment.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to school representatives and Allied Universal leadership.

As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Documentation in Ashburn, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government educational location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security‑related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
