Job summary

Lynn University is seeking a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC) program. This position involves teaching graduate-level courses with a 4-4 load each term, and opportunities may exist for undergraduate instruction.

Applicants should hold a Ph.D. related to Counseling and demonstrate proficiency in technology for instructional delivery. Strong candidates will possess relevant clinical and advocacy experience, and degrees from CACREP-accredited programs are preferred.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have graduated with a Ph.D. in Counseling, Counselor Education, or a related program.
• Experiences in research, clinical supervision, advocacy, social justice, and substance abuse are advantageous.
• Preference given to those with degrees from CACREP-accredited programs.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in accordance with college guidelines.
• Participate in the college's assessment program of student performance.
• Respond timely to student questions and concerns.
