Job summary

Washington College invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor of Marketing beginning August 2027. The successful candidate will develop and teach upper-level marketing electives and contribute to the college-wide first-year writing and research program.

A Ph.D. or DBA in Marketing is required; ABD welcomed.

Qualifications

• PhD or DBA in Marketing or related field; ABD welcomed.
• 2+ years teaching college-age students in a college or university setting preferred.
• Enthusiasm about teaching in a liberal-arts environment with emphasis on critical thinking, writing, speaking, and faculty-student interaction.

Responsibilities

• Teach three marketing courses per semester including Principles of Marketing, Marketing Research Methods, and Managerial Statistics.
