Job summary

The University of Oregon’s College of Education seeks instructors and lecturers to fill a pool of qualified candidates for periodic, temporary teaching assignments in Special Education and Clinical Sciences (SPECS). These positions may be undergraduate or graduate level and offered in various formats, including online or in-person.

Responsibilities include course preparation, teaching, evaluating student work, supervising Graduate Employees, and maintaining regular office hours.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in special education, school psychology, psychology, or related fields.
• Professional experience in one or more of the content areas listed above.
• Note: some courses require a current school psychology license per National Association of School Psychologists accreditation guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Course preparation and teaching using face-to-face, online, or hybrid modalities.
• Preparation and evaluation of student assignments and exams.
• Supervision of Graduate Employees who serve as teaching assistants.
• Scheduled office hours; some courses meet evenings or weekends.
