Compensation

$51,000.00 to Negotiable


General Description

The School of Communication is seeking a 9-month, non-tenure earning, Visiting Instructor of Communication Studies. This position will report to the Director of the School of Communication. Position responsibilities in the School of Communication include teaching undergraduate courses, a load of four speech courses in fall 2026 and four speech courses in spring 2027, as assigned by the Department Director. This is a temporary appointment for a stated term or time-period on a full-time basis. Supervisor: This position will report to the Department Director. Working Hours: Varies Supervision Exercised: This is not a supervisory role. Required Licensure: N/A Anticipated Start Date: August 3, 2026


Required Qualifications

Master's Degree in the discipline or closely related field.


Preferred Qualifications / Skills

Expected to demonstrate effectiveness in teaching (which include face-to-face courses and online course offerings as well as curriculum improvement initiatives).
