Qualifications

• Ph.D. required by start date (Jan 2027) in environmental studies, geography or closely related social science.
• ABD applicants who anticipate completion by Dec 2026 will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Teach EVST 1000 Introduction to Environmental Studies; EVST 3998 Race, Body, and Environment; and a First-Year Seminar (FFYS 1000).
• Contribute to collaborative, interdisciplinary and community-engaged teaching and research.
• Mentor a diverse student body in Los Angeles and support LMU's teacher-scholar model.
