Visiting Assistant Professor of Instruction - History (Finance)

The Department of History at the University of South Florida, Tampa campus, is seeking applicants for a Visiting Assistant Professor of Instruction position with expertise in US History, starting August 7, 2025. This is a visiting position with the possibility of extension for a second and/or third year.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Doctorate degree from an accredited institution in the field of specialization or equivalent qualifications based on professional experience that meet national and/or regional accreditation standards. Applications from individuals who are ABD (all but dissertation) will be accepted, but the degree must be conferred by the appointment start date.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Preference may be given to candidates whose interests complement or expand the department's offerings.
