The Department of History at the University of South Florida, Tampa campus, is seeking applicants for a Visiting Assistant Professor of Instruction position with expertise in US History, starting August 7, 2025. This is a visiting position with the potential for extension for a second and/or third year.
Applicants should upload the following:
Doctorate degree from an accredited institution in the field of specialization or equivalent professional experience meeting accreditation standards. ABD candidates will be considered if the degree is conferred by the start date.
Preference may be given to candidates whose interests complement or expand the department's offerings.
