General Information: Wheaton College (IL) is seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Professor to join the faculty in a visiting position in the Biological and Health Sciences Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching courses in general biology, botany, and environmental or biological ethics. Start Date: Full-Time – Fall 2025

Pay Range: Assistant Professor - $62,000 - 67,000

Qualifications/Requirements:

1. A Ph.D. in Biology, Botany, Ecology, or a related field.
2. Demonstrated commitment to Christian values and the ability to integrate faith and learning in the field of biological sciences.
3. Prior teaching experience at the university level is preferred, with a strong record of effective and innovative pedagogy.
4. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and inspire students.

1. Develop and deliver engaging and comprehensive courses in general biology, botany, and bioethics at the undergraduate level.
