Job Summary/Basic Function:
The School of Humanities and Cultural Studies (SoHCS) at Wright State University invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor of History beginning August 2027.
We seek candidates whose primary expertise is in Digital Humanities and/or Public Humanities, with additional expertise in American History before 1900, Public History, or related fields.
The successful candidate will contribute to undergraduate and graduate instruction in History, including interdisciplinary teaching and curricular development that integrate digital tools, public-facing scholarship, and project-based learning.
