The Zimmerman School of Advertising & Mass Communications at the University of South Florida invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Instructor or Assistant Professor of Instruction. This is a nine-month, full-time, non-tenure earning position with a start date of August 7, 2025. Salary is negotiable. This visiting position may be extended for a second and third year based on performance and funding.
The school is located in Tampa, Florida, within the 11th largest media market in the U.S., offering numerous internship and career opportunities. Students participate in over 100 internships annually, and various student organizations provide networking opportunities with professionals in the industry.

The successful candidate will teach a variety of video production courses, including electronic field production, Adobe for video and audio, production and direction, documentary film, and video for advertising and promotions. There may also be opportunities to teach in virtual production.
