Job summary

Harbor Church in Westminster, CO seeks a relational, visionary Youth Pastor to lead Harbor Youth. The role centers on discipling students, partnering with parents, and building a sustainable, multi-year ministry that guides students through transitions from childhood to young adulthood.

The ideal candidate crafts a three-year plan, develops volunteer leaders, and collaborates with Children’s Ministry and other teams to ensure cohesive Next Generation programming.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Ministry, Theology, Biblical Studies, Christian Leadership, or related field.
• 2+ years of full-time youth ministry experience.
• Experience recruiting and developing volunteer leaders.
• Experience managing ministry budgets and calendars.
• Ability to build strong partnerships with parents and families.

Responsibilities

• Design, lead, and continually improve weekly Harbor Youth gatherings.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive three-year strategic ministry plan.
• Recruit, train, mentor, and develop volunteer leaders.
• Lead and develop Youth Ministry interns alongside the Lead and Executive Pastors.
• Build healthy and thriving student small groups.
• Develop a student leadership team that prepares students to serve and lead.
• Partner with parents by providing practical resources and ongoing support.
