Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with a current, active state license as an RN or LPN.
• A minimum of three years nursing experience is preferred.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Knowledge of person-directed care practices for seniors, including those with dementia, preferred.
• Experience in a similar role within a senior living or healthcare setting is preferred.
• Proficiency with common digital tools including Microsoft Office, web platforms, EHR systems, and HR-related systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of quality care in compliance with care plans and assessments.
• Develop nursing service objectives, policies, and procedures aligned with regulations.
• Maintain a safe working environment and prevent accidents.
• Provide nursing coverage and assistance as needed.
• Assess residents for appropriate care levels and communicate health information to staff.
• Manage and coordinate nursing staff, CNAs, and medication technicians.
• Supervise medications for residents who self-administer when applicable.
• Oversee pharmacy relations, ensure timely medication delivery and accurate eMAR.
