Job summary
Wiregrass Georgia Technical College is seeking a Math Instructor to provide instruction in mathematics at the Valdosta Campus and at high schools in our service area. The role involves preparing lesson plans, developing curricula, and evaluating student progress to meet program goals.
The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in Mathematics (or 18 graduate hours in Mathematics) and strong communication and organizational skills.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Mathematics or Master's degree with 18 graduate hours in Mathematics from an accredited institution.
- Education courses related to the teaching of Math are not considered discipline specific in meeting this requirement.
- Coursework must be in Math or closely related discipline aligned to course competencies.
Responsibilities
- Provide instruction to students in mathematics courses at the Valdosta Campus and high schools in the service area.
- Prepare lesson plans for classroom and online instruction for credited arts and sciences courses.
- Develop program curriculum, syllabi, goals, and objectives; evaluate student progress.
