Job summary

Ben Porat Yosef seeks a Principal of Limudei Kodesh to lead Judaic Studies for grades 1–8 at a Modern Orthodox day school in New Jersey. The role centers on curriculum design, teacher mentorship, and strong religious leadership in a Sephardic-Ashkenazic environment.

The ideal candidate will hold an advanced degree in Jewish education or Judaic Studies, Rabbinic ordination, and at least 5 years of instructional leadership.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Jewish education and Rabbinic ordination or Judaic Studies degree are required.
• Minimum of 5 years of Judaic Studies instruction and leadership experience, including curriculum development.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee the Judaic Studies curriculum for grades 1–8, aligned with the school's mission.
• Provide supervision, mentorship and evaluations for Judaic Studies faculty.
• Engage students and families, fostering a religious and academic community.
• Lead Sephardic and Ashkenazic programming within the school’s religious life.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to recruit Judaic staff and shape educational strategy.
