Job summary

Lorien Wood in Vienna, Virginia, seeks a Christian Head of School to lead our PreK-12 community with energy, vision, and a commitment to whole-child formation. This full-time executive leadership role reports to the Board of Trustees and oversees operations, learning environments, and student engagement.

The ideal candidate will have extensive educational leadership experience, a strong faith background, and a track record in curriculum design and school management.

Qualifications

• Practicing Christian (required).
• Bachelor’s Degree (required).
• Preferred Master’s degree or higher in education.
• Evidence of prior classroom and/or school administration experience.
• Excellent knowledge of curriculum and pedagogy.
• At least five years teaching experience.
