Adventist Health Tehachapi is seeking an experienced and visionary leader to serve as Program Director for our Family Medicine Residency Program. This role shapes the future of primary care by mentoring the next generation of family physicians and guiding a mission-driven, academic team.

You will champion accreditation, develop a high-quality curriculum, and oversee faculty development while maintaining your clinical practice within a supportive, community-focused system.

Qualifications

• Must hold or be eligible for an unrestricted California medical license.
• Board certified in Family Medicine with residency training in ACGME-accredited program.
• Experience in graduate medical education administration and leadership preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead residency program in alignment with ACGME requirements and state guidelines.
• Oversee curriculum development, resident assessments, and performance reviews.
• Mentor faculty and manage annual faculty development opportunities.
• Recruit and retain diverse residents and ensure an inclusive learning environment.
• Oversee residency budget and resources to meet accreditation standards.
• Represent the program within Adventist Health and the community.
