Job summary
The Caldwell-West Caldwell Board of Education seeks an exemplary Superintendent of Schools to lead its PK-12 district, serving Caldwell and West Caldwell with a focus on student achievement, collaboration, and community stewardship.
The successful candidate will bring strong financial acumen, deep knowledge of special education, and a track record of building-level leadership; experience as a principal is preferred.
Qualifications
- Candidate must hold a New Jersey School Administrator Certificate or Certificate of Eligibility.
- Must have a master’s degree in educational leadership, administration, or a related field.
- Administrative experience of five years or more, including school principal or building-level leadership.
Responsibilities
- Serve as district’s chief educational and administrative leader with strategic direction.
- Balance instructional needs with district resources and fiscal responsibility.
- Lead and develop administrators and staff; supervise and evaluate programs and personnel.
