Brushy Creek Post Acute in Greer, SC is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (DON, RN) to lead our nursing department, oversee clinical operations, and ensure regulatory compliance. The DON is responsible for managing staffing, budgets, and quality of care across the facility.

This role manages staff, QA activities, survey readiness, and the coordination of MDS and care planning to foster high-quality, compassionate resident care.

Qualifikationen

• Current, unrestricted RN license in South Carolina.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• BSN preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of nurse management experience preferred.
• Skilled nursing or long-term care leadership experience strongly preferred.
• Proven experience managing clinical operations, staffing, budgets, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal nursing home regulations.

Aufgaben

• Provide leadership and management of the nursing department.
• Develop, implement, and monitor nursing policies and procedures.
• Ensure resident safety and promote dignity, respect, and quality care.
• Recruit, hire, onboard, train, and retain nursing staff.
• Maintain staffing levels and oversee scheduling processes.
• Conduct evaluations, coaching, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement.
• Coordinate education and in-service training programs.
• Coordinate pharmacy services and medication management.
• Liaise between physicians, residents, families, and the facility.
• Participate in QA, Utilization Review, and patient care conferences.
• Coordinate MDS processes and resident care planning.
• Manage budgets and reporting requirements.
• Stay current with regulatory updates and survey readiness.
