The role requires active involvement in accreditation processes, budget management, fundraising, faculty development, and external partnerships to advance the college's programs and regional impact;

Qualifications

• Earned doctorate or terminal degree from an accredited university.
• Teaching, research, and service commensurate with full professor status.

Responsibilities

• Foster continuous improvement of high-quality academic programs and degree tracks.
• Promote and elevate faculty scholarship, research initiatives, and creative activity.
• Mentor and evaluate chairs, faculty, and staff to foster a high-performing academic culture.
• Cultivate professional growth and leadership development.
• Partner with admissions to drive student recruitment and enrollment growth.
• Champion student success, advising, and retention across departments.
• Ensure compliance with accreditation guidelines and standards.
• Lead short- and long-term strategic planning aligned with goals.
• Oversee budget allocation, resources, and fundraising.
• Build partnerships with industry and community for the college.
• Expand external outreach to enhance regional reputation and workforce alignment.
• Teach 9 credit hours per year as needed.
• Serve on Academic Council and other committees.
