Job summary

• Earned doctorate or terminal degree from an accredited university.
• Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build trust and resolve conflicts across stakeholders.
• Experience in academic administration and policy/staff development.
• Commitment to enrollment growth and high-quality programs.
• Experience with student advocacy and responsive leadership in higher education.
• Leadership in assessment and accreditation affecting college programs.

Responsibilities

• Promote faculty scholarship, research initiatives, and creative activity across the college.
• Mentor, evaluate chairs, faculty, and staff to foster a high-performing academic culture.
• Cultivate opportunities for professional growth and leadership development.
• Partner with admissions to drive recruitment, enrollment growth, and program outreach.
• Champion student success, advising, and retention across all departments.
• Maintain knowledge of accreditation guidelines and ensure compliance.
• Direct short- and long-term strategic planning aligned with goals and standards.
• Oversee budget allocation, resources, and fundraising to support growth.
• Build partnerships with industry, community organizations, and alumni.
