Job summary

Centerpointe Behavioral Health Hospital in St. Charles, MO, part of Acadia Healthcare, seeks an inspiring Chief Executive Officer to lead growth, compliance and clinical excellence. Lead a multidisciplinary team, expand services, and build regional partnerships to advance patient-centered outcomes across inpatient, PHP and IOP programs. The CEO champions regulatory success and sustainable financial performance while guiding a nationwide behavioral health network.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in senior leadership or CEO role in behavioral health, acute care, or managed care.
• Thorough knowledge of facility administration, clinical operations, and accreditation.
• Experience turning around organizations and directing crisis and inpatient behavioral health services.
• Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting, contract negotiations, and revenue growth.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across internal teams and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead the facility with emphasis on high quality care and patient safety.
• Manage day-to-day operations and staff to meet performance and regulatory objectives.
• Oversee contract negotiations and compliance with commercial payers and reporting.
• Develop continuum of care including outpatient services and community programs.
• Foster relationships with government agencies, local business and referral sources.
• Ensure survey readiness, accreditation, and compliance with CMS/JCAHO standards.
